Notes from the Discussion by Birgit Schneider:
      • 5 lectures per day are too much. It would be nice to have tutorials/exercises in between for diversion.
      • 1 hour lunch break is enough in Berlin. If a lecture finishes earlier, we are fine with starting the next lecture earlier instead of making super long breaks.
        • We would like to have 45 min lectures + 15 min coffee breaks.
          • Coffee is needed after lunch.
      • The concept of the tutorials is nice. We would like to see more of this. It was good that we could choose between two topics.
      • Please use a microphone when it's noisy outside.
      • The internet in the guest house was not very good and only accessible with a LAN-cable. But it was nice that the guest house is very near to the Block course location.
      • The time Monday lunch - Thursday evening for the Berlin Block course is nice. Please keep it like that.
      • For the Block course in Rathen 2017 we would like to change the topic "Dark Matter at LHC" to "Dark Matter experiments". If possible add exercises to the lectures.
      • We want to do a student for student lecture. We try to come up with a clear plan for this as soon as possible.
      • Topic suggestions for the Block course Berlin 2017:
        • Gravitational waves
        • Gauge theory (in curved space time)
        • General Relativity
        • Statistics
        • Computational engineering
        • Black holes
        • Loop quantum gravity
        • Linear colliders
        • Astroparticle physics
        • Renormalization
    • 17:00 17:15
      Coffee Break 15m
