The German Conference of Women in Physics (Deutsche Physikerinnentagung) has taken place annually since 1997. The conference is supported by the Working Group on Equal Opportunities (AKC) of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG). This year's conference will be hosted by the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel.

The DPT 25 is taking place under the patronage of Karin Prien, the Federal Minister for Education, Family Affairs, Seniors, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ).

The conference offers female physicists of different areas and at different career levels, from student to professor, as well as physicists in industry, the possibility for networking and professional exchange. The program of the conference covers scientific talks from different areas of physics, the presentation of professional perspectives for physicists, school and didactic events, as well as events on topics like equal opportunity, work-life balance, or career management.

The scientific program will consist of keynote talks, invited talks and a selection of contributing talks. If you are interested in giving a talk (oral or poster ), you will have the opportunity to upload an abstract.  You will also have the ability to register for various workshops during registration.

The conference is conducted in English to provide an opportunity for non-German speakers to participate in the DPT.
