Attosecond technology to trace electron dynamics in matter
In this tutorial I will address the electron time scale and I will show how attosecond technology can be exploited to get access to purely electronic processes such as charge migration or to clock photoemission delays. After presenting some results obtained by my group and our collaborators using table-top attosecond sources, I will show perspectives of addressing the same physics at FELs.
